Theater - Les amants de Nohant de Dominique Gaillard-Kahn

To evoke Nohant is to speak of the love life of two geniuses, George Sand and Frederic Chopin, who deliver to us here the most illustrious musical pages of the romantic repertoire, composed at the domain of Nohant, the residence of the writer in Berry. It is also Pauline Viardot, famous singer and great friend of the couple, inviting us to share beautiful melodies composed by Chopin. Finally, Nohant is a holiday resort for Balzac, Delacroix, Flaubert, Liszt ... Solange Sand, daughter of George, privileged witness of that time, tells us here the story of this mythical connection between his mother and Chopin, as well as his conflictual relations with her.
