Exposition de Carole Feuerman "Réflexions de l'âme".
After having made Saint-Tropez one of the stops on her European tour in 2021, the American artist Carole A. Feuerman is back on the peninsula for an exhibition of her hyper-realistic sculptures, "Reflections of the Soul", organised by the Bel-Air Fine Art gallery, in partnership with the City of Saint-Tropez. Feuerman is back on the peninsula for an exhibition of her hyper-realistic sculptures, "Reflections of the Soul", organised by the Bel-Air Fine Art gallery, in partnership with the City of Saint-Tropez. From June to October 2022, his famous life-size and monumental swimmers and dancers will take over the streets, squares and port of the village.
Carole A. Feuerman is recognised as one of the pioneers of Hyperrealist sculpture. Along with Hanson and De Andrea, she was one of the first to launch the Hyperrealism movement in the late 1970s. Feuerman's public works have been exhibited all over the world: Soho and Central Park (New York), Avenue George V (Paris), Harbour City (Hong Kong), Milan, Rome, New Bond Street and Canary Wharf (London), Knokke Heist (Belgium)...
The Bel-Air Fine Art gallery is also organising for the third time a solo exhibition of the American artist in the context of the Venice Biennale. After the Giardini della Marinaressa, it is in the sublime setting of the Church of Santa Maria della Pietà that her sculptures will be exhibited until 27 November 2022.
"Through my sculptures, I transmit my feelings about life and art. It is much easier for me to express my emotions through sculpture than through words. I depict the inner life of each image I create to capture the passion and sensuality of my subject. In this way, my work speaks to the viewer, evoking both an emotional and intellectual response."
