DELPHINE DE SAXE " What Is To Come Is Better Than What Was " from September 26 to October 30, 2022
Delphine de Saxe - Cobourg (1968) is an Anglo-Belgian artist. Delphine grew up in London and worked as an artist there until 2003, when she moved to Brussels to set up a new studio. As well as exhibiting in galleries and museums, she has successfully worked on art-related projects with several international companies, including Coca-Cola, Bic, ABSOLUT and the Red Cross.

Delphine has made a name for herself in the European art world as a non-conformist artist and colourist. She is known for creating multi-media works brimming with colour, texture and humour that address universal themes. Whether painting, video, neon sculpture or metal design pieces, her works are vibrant, playful and eccentric. They are capable of lovingly inspiring the dispossessed, while bringing the powerful and proud back to reality. Questions of identity, power and justice often inspire Delphine's work. Part of her artistic motivation is to offer the viewer a chance to see the bright side of life.

Delphine's explicit use of words and language makes her messages very direct, while her use of colour and composition leaves room for fantasy and irony. After having exhibited regularly in the galleries of Linda and Guy Pieters in Belgium, this is the first time she has exhibited her work at the Foundation in Saint Tropez.

From 07/09 to 09/10/2022, daily.
