Un village entre mer et vigne
With a historical centre located on the top of the hill, the village covers the valley and the shoreline and offers so many different and beautiful landscapes. But only one word can sum up this diversity :
Architectural culture on the top of the hill with picturesque narrow streets and buildings from the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries : an old fire lookout tower, which became a bell tower, a stunning Saracen gate, a manor, and some remains of the Medieval wall. Restored buildings feature restaurants, shops and art galleries. The perfect place to go for a pleasant stroll in summer!
Culture of the land... because the vines grow on the hillsides and in the valley (classified AOC Côtes de Provence). You can also find sumptuous estates such as the Château Volterra overlooking the clear turquoise-coloured waters and the wild capes and coves (Cap Taillat, Cap Camarat).
Artistic culture : Ramatuelle is the place where two well-known festivals take place each summer. Theatre and jazz music feature star performers, other celebrities stay and gather at luxury seaside villas, away from the prying eyes...
Culture of party and relax... because the whole world want to earn a place under the sun or in chic beach clubs on the large beach of fine sand... in Pampelonne.
