The family vineyard is run by Alain and Michel Donadio.
A Tropezian family of wine makers. They have been recognised and rewarded for their expertise in Red and Rosé wines and for their array of flavours.
The wineward of Cap-Saint-Pierre is located in Saint-Tropez. The sales and the winemaking sites are situated in Gassin at the entrance of Saint-Tropez, between the Kube Hotel and the Saint-Tropez sign. The vineyard is comprised of sunny plots where they grow different grape varieties: Tibouren, Grenache, Syrah, Merlot, Rolle and Sémillon.
Located between the famous Madrague, the parks under the Borelli Castle and facing the Citadel, The Canebiers Bay is a paradise on Earth. The movie «Le Viager» has been filmed on the former farm built in 1780. Our family has been in the Wine World since the 19th Century. The plots start on a hill, with a gentle slope that continues down to the edge of the coastline on sandy schist soils helped by the Mediterranean humidity that brings a fragrant flavour to the Tibouren grape variety.
This variety is unique to Saint-Tropez peninsula. The uniqueness of the vineyard is that it is surrounded by stone walls, massive Provençal Cypress rows and half-moon streams. The winemaking is carried out in stainless steel tanks and with a material that is at the cutting edge of technology. Our «Legend» vintage comes in three colours: Red, Rosé and White. The vineyard has received 11 awards in 2018 for its control and expertise (3 awards at General Agricultural contest) .
