New Cuvée in Val D'Astier

From 8 june to 31 december 2020

The new Cuvée Signe Nature Rosé 2019

A wine made in the most natural setting possible, allowing the expression of a cuvée full of richness and aromas typical of the terroir and its grape varieties. Signe Nature, in reference to our precious land, makes this rosé a wine different from our Provençal traditions.
An intense raspberry pink colour. A nose with complex red fruit aromas. On the palate, a slightly structured wine revealing roundness and complexity with aromas of yellow-fleshed fruit. A gastronomic rosé that will go well with spicy dishes.
Winemaking technique: Grapes from our "test" plots: plots located in a natural environment where biodiversity is at its highest. The work is exclusively manual and governed by the lunar calendar until bottling. Grapes picked during the night, a vinification as close as possible to the grape (indigenous yeasts) and the only addition of sulphur and a light filtration is carried out at bottling.

Keeping potential: 2 to 3 years
Grape varieties: Grenache, Syrah, Rolle

This rosé is an essential part of the traditional wines of Provence. The grapes are picked on our most beautiful terroirs of lamellar schist during the night.
The blending of these four grape varieties exposed on our valleys makes it possible to obtain  a wine with tension and aromatic finesse.

A pale coloured rosé. A nose full of fruit, combining white peach and citrus fruits.  A lively and balanced mouth bringing aromas full of freshness. Its length allows you to appreciate it as an aperitif or with a meal accompanied by fish carpaccio or fresh salad while enjoying the sun.  The pleasure of this wine is to drink it!
Winemaking technique: Harvest at night. Direct pressing then settling.  Start of fermentation with indigenous yeasts, maturing in stainless steel tanks on fine lees until bottling where the only action of adding sulphur and a light filtration takes place.

Keeping potential: 2 to 3 years
Grape varieties: Grenache, Cinsault, Tibouren, Rolle

Presentation of domaine :

  • A creation...

In the heart of a wild and multifaceted nature, the Seignez family has been caring for the valleys of the Val d'Astier since its creation in 2003. In the eyes of Bruno and Ellen, burn the energy of those who have shaped the hill, deforested, planted, imagined plateaux and slopes so that the 18 grape varieties are best exposed.

  • A family...

The family spirit is a source of inspiration for winemaking tinged with passion and nature. They have been joined today by Arthur and Laure, their children lulled by the scents and values of this beloved land.

  • A Story...

Each cuvée blends the character of the terroir and the savoir-faire of its winemakers, leaving it to nature to express itself. The estate combines market gardening, pastoralism and apiculture to ensure biodiversity and total respect for this corner of paradise. "Our wines live outdoors in harmony with time so that the alliance of the work of nature and the winegrower takes place in our glasses ...".
