The bond between the red terrace and fashion is a long story. It's not surprising to see some of the most beautiful girls in the world there, even Gabrielle Chanel was seen here in her heyday...

The undeniable icon of true Tropezien chic, Karl Lagerfeld, was a faithful client. Nobody was really surprised when he chose to privatize the place so as to organize the fashion show of the Chanel Cruise Collection 2011. Two days of magnificent fanfares, giant screens around the town and flocks of VIP's. "Just a few close friends" explained Karl in the company of Vanessa Paradis, Anna Mouglalis, Diane Kruger, Georgia Jagger or Karolina Kurkova... For a few hours it was the return to the carefree, good old days, a revival of the 60's... In a thunder of applause, the models arrived in Rivas... a show of light mini dresses, vichy prints, sponge beach bags, pearls and lace, Chanel in all its summer elegance. In 2016 it was Louis Vuitton who captured the regards. The luxury label invented the first Tropezien fashion week with a gala dinner and a presentation of their winter collection. Fashion is beautiful...
