Tribute to BB
BB Forever
Tribute was paid to BB in the halls of honour at the 16th City Hall, by the Mayor, Danièle Giazzi, Bernard d'Ormale - Birgitte Bardot husband and nearly 450 guests, among whom were many personalities from the political world, Cinema, the press and the Gotha, on the occasion of the preview exhibition organised by Saint-Tropez Tourisme.
It was a very festive atmosphere during the cocktail event in the colours of the Cité du Bailli, with tasting of the "Cuvée BB" by Besserat Bellefon Champagnes, Provence wines from château Bertaud Bélieu and the authentic Tarte Tropézienne by Albert Dufresne, that sweet treat favoured by Madame Bardot. Lovers of beautiful stories did not fail to attend the next day at the fascinating conference by journalist Henry Jean Servat on the theme of Brigitte Bardot, culmination of the "16 Arts" Cultural Festival which takes place here every year.
Exclusive photographies
An already enamoured public was able to discover 30 unpublished visuals on the private life of the star in her different Parisian residences, including the residences at Avenue Paul Doumer, Rue de la Pompe and Rue de la Tour. While millions of BB pictures are in circulation around the world, among all the photographers who have scrambled in the wake of the glamorous icon, only a handful of them can boast of having developed friendly relations with Mrs. Bardot. Leonardo da Raemy was one of them. Deceased in 2000, the founder of the agencies Gamma and then Sygma was among her inner circle and as such, was invited to many parties in La Madrague.
He was also present on the set of the actress's major shootings, from Rum Runners to The Bear and the Doll via The Legend of Frenchie King, to name but a few. In memory of this bond of friendship, his son Marc has agreed to reveal to the public the mostly unpublished beautiful shots. Magnificent Brigitte, who is so dear to the hearts of Tropezians, after having conquered the world with her beauty and charisma, devotes most of her time and life today to defending the animal world and nature.
