OF THE 20TH CENTURY
Roger and Julien Capron, a family passion
The Capron signature is a must in the world of ceramics. It is recognized in France and internationally, the artist friend of Picasso signed in particular the famous frescoes of the Byblos hotel which, since 1967, have not aged a day.
Julien Capron follows in the footsteps of his grandfather Roger Capron, imagining masterful works mixing wood and earth with earthenware inspirations.
Claude Vialat, an essential figure in contemporary art
Already in 1970, advocated the renewal of art outside the traditional framework. Resolutely anti-conformist, his process based on prints on free canvas supports offers a new look at geometric abstraction. The artist from Languedoc has established himself as one of the greatest colourists of the 20th century.
FD 63, inspired by cubism
The sculptor artist is at ease with modernity, purity and the chromatic palette dear to Klein. In different formats, or even to order, he combines old fabrics and plaster strips to reinvent volumes.
Exclusively at the gallery.
