The Domaine Bertaud Belieu extends its 65 hectares, 40 of which are under vine, under the sun of the peninsula of Saint-Tropez, in Gassin.
The first Tropezian wine estate was born in 1340 from a marriage between the Counts of Provence and Grimaldi de Grimaud, the dowry: the Seigniory of Bertaud and its vines. It was not until 1989 that it was attached to the Domaine de Belieu, the name of the river that flows into Port Cogolin.
Today, the Château de Bertaud still stands, bordering the sea.
The cellar master, Fabien Godrie, remains a passionate 5th generation winemaker. Each year, he does everything possible to obtain exceptional quality wines resulting from the blending of typical Provencal grape varieties: Grenache, Cinsault, Tibouren, Rolle, Mourvèdre, Syrah.
Our rosé, red and white wines have the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) Côtes de Provence. The vineyard is cultivated in a reasoned manner, certified HEV 3 with zero pesticides. The production and packaging are carried out 100% autonomously with local products.
In an eco-responsible approach and sensitive to current issues, the estate pursues its commitments...
Sharing, hospitality and conviviality are the key words of our welcome to the cellar, rewarded by the Quality Tourism Label awarded by the CCI du Var in 2017. Come and discover our passion and our exceptional know-how through personalised services during your visit to Saint-Tropez!
