A BEACH IN TUNE WITH NATURE
Thanks to its natural beauty, Byblos Beach Ramatuelle is a truly exceptional site and is totally geared to reducing its ecological footprint. The entire structure can be dismantled at will, being made of whitened wooden weatherboarding, providing a throwback to the hulls of old sailing ships, thus making a real statement of ecoresponsibility. Not only are the structure and fittings made solely from wood, the use of any kind of plastic is prohibited. Water and electricity consumption is totally ecooriented, with small and discreet table lamps preventing any risk of light pollution once night has fallen. Furthermore, all food waste is compacted within a compost tank for enhanced preservation of our planet’s natural resources.
NAUTICALLY-INSPIRED INTERIOR DESIGN
Designed by François Frossard, who also recently redesigned the hotel’s nightclub ‘Les Caves du Roy’, the style of Byblos Beach Ramatuelle will be inspired by its surrounding area and the world of sailing. In true Byblos fashion, the design will remain elegant and fun with its signature orange colour, splashes of yellow and white-painted bespoke wooden furniture.
RELAXING MUSICAL EVENINGS
At the end of the day, the beach tunes into the atmosphere of the Lounge area, where guests take great delight in getting together for early evening cocktails concocted by our Head Barman Mathieu Tourtet; an elegant range of elixirs accompanied by tasty and original canapés. Gentle background music orchestrated by a resident DJ, soft and inviting sofas and relaxing couch hammocks, all add to the lounge-like atmosphere as a soft summer breeze wafts across Byblos Beach Ramatuelle.
A DELICIOUS TASTE OF THE MEDITERRANEAN
The open-plan kitchen is in full view of the guests at the 120-seater restaurant area. Joy and contentment can best sum up the atmosphere that reigns around the barbecue, the ideal location for meeting up with family and friends. A peaceful setting, brought to life by Hotel Byblos’ executive chef Rocco Seminara and his light and tasty creations with a distinctive Mediterrannean accent, all made from top quality produce.
Ceviche, fresh vegetables, grilled meat, a range of different olive oils, home-made ice cream and sorbets… all are given star billing to produce a range of fresh and colourful compositions. A rich array of flavours and colours for a truly inspiring menu which sees essential classics rubbing shoulders with light and original summer creations. By way of example, one of the menu’s most popular dishes giving pride of place to local Mediterranean produce is zucchini blossom fritters with basil and olive oil. An absolute must-try! Those with a sweeter palate are by no means overlooked, with Stéphane Marin, Hotel Byblos’ pastry chef, working tirelessly all day long to deliver his very own creations, offering a truly delightful culinary experience, delicious flavours and aromas combining to produce generous, astounding tastebud sensations.
