28th MASTERS OF CHAMPIONS

Invitational Pétanque and Golf Tournament from October 17 to 19, 2025 reserved for Champions of all sports who hold at least one national championship title in their respective sport. Numerous World and Olympic Champions will be present.
The Masters des Champions was created in 1996 on the initiative of Bernard Béguin, multiple French Rally Champion.
It's a prestigious event that brings together a number of top-level sportsmen and women from different backgrounds, all of whom hold at least one championship title in their respective sport.
Over the past 25 years, the Masters des Champions has become a not-to-be-missed annual event during which these sports stars, golf and petanque enthusiasts, compete in a friendly atmosphere on the fairways of the Var region, as well as on the Place des Lices in Saint-Tropez.
Some of France's greatest (golfing) champions have already taken part in this tournament. The track record speaks for itself: Alain Boghossian, David Ginola, Christophe Dugarry, Christophe Pinna, Annie Famose, Mansour Bahrami, Bruno Saby have all won, with the likes of Laura Flessel, Guy Drut, Alain Prost, Michel Platini, Henri Leconte, Jacques Laffite, Philippe Candeloro, Florence Masnada , Gwendal Peizerat, etc....
Since 2017, the Mairie de Saint-Tropez has made it possible for these Champions (around forty each year) to meet on Saturday afternoons on the Place des Lices to battle it out petanque balls in hand to the delight of the spectators present.
This year's event will take place from October 16 to 19, with numerous activities in Saint-Tropez, culminating in the petanque competition on Saturday afternoon from 4.30pm.
