Concert - Manon GALY & Jorge GONZALEZ-BUAJASAN: Aimez-vous... Brahms and Belle époque

We welcome violinist Manon Galy and pianist Jorge Gonzàlez-Buajasan for "Aimez-vous... Brahms et Belle Époque", with works by Schumann, Dvořák, Brahms, Debussy, Ravel and Milhaud.
Born in Toulouse and Havana, it was at the CNSM in Paris that Manon and Jorge first met in 2014. From this friendship came a natural desire to share music and the stage; they founded the Zeliha trio in 2018 and began playing in duo at the same time. In 2021, they won 1st prize, the Audience Prize and 5 special prizes in the sonata category at the Lyon International Chamber Music Competition.
Their individual achievements are considerable: Manon is Instrumental Soloist Revelation at the 2022 Victoires de la Musique awards, and is a prizewinner in the Jascha Heifetz, Marie Cantagrill, Ginette Neveu and Andrea Postacchini competitions, while Jorge wins the KlavierOlymp in Bad Kissingen and the 2019 Clara Haskil Competition.
They perform at numerous festivals, in solo, duo and with their trio Zeliha, founded alongside cellist Maxime Quennesson: Festival international de piano de La Roque d'Anthéron, Folle journée de Tokyo and Nantes, Sommets Musicaux de Gstaad, Rencontres musicales d'Evian, Deauville and Pont-Croix festivals... As well as prestigious venues such as the Philharmonie de Paris, the Konzerthaus in Vienna, the Herkulessaal in Munich, the Palazzetto Bru Zane in Venice, etc.
Manon and Jorge are also regular soloists with orchestras such as the Orchestre National de France, the chamber orchestras of Vienna, Salzburg, Lausanne and Nouvelle-Aquitaine, the Orchestre du Capitole de Toulouse, the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, the ONPL, and the philharmonic orchestras of Monte-Carlo, Nice and Marseille... They collaborate with such great conductors as Christian Macelaru, Renaud Capuçon, Aziz Shokhakimov, Bertrand de Billy, Stanislav Kochanovsky, Lawrence Foster, Victorien Vanoosten, Gabor Tackaks-Nagy, Patrick Davin, Simone Menezes and David Molard-Soriano.
Their chamber music partners include Renaud Capuçon, the Zaïde, Hermès, Modigliani and Dutilleux quartets, François Salque, Gabriel Pidoux, Guillaume Bellom, Théo Fouchenneret, Hortense Cartier-Bresson, Arthur Hinnewinkel, Anna Agafia, Stéphanie Huang, Paul Zientara...
Their album "Nuits parisiennes", released as a duo on the Aparté label in February 2023, was awarded a Diapason d'Or de l'année, 5 Classica stars and 4T Télérama.
The two musicians are individual laureates of the Banque Populaire, Safran and Oulmont foundations. They are members of Beau Soir Productions, a production company founded by Renaud Capuçon.
