Lavoir Vasserot exhibition - LUMPE Katja

From 24/07/2025 to 30/07/2025

Abstract painter Katja Lumpe draws her inspiration from the light of southern France. Her works evoke strength and harmony, blending gold, silver and patinas. Exhibited internationally, she was awarded 1st prize by the town of Saint-Tropez.
Katja Lumpe is a contemporary artist whose pictorial universe is rooted in abstraction. Inspired by the intense light, sharp contrasts and vibrant colors of southern France, she translates her emotions into rich, expressive compositions, appealing to art lovers and discerning collectors alike.

Her works, often perceived as true "characters", combine strength, lightness and balance. They are inspired by nature and the universe in all their splendor - undulating movements, organic reliefs, intense nuances - to offer a free and sensitive reading of reality. Katja Lumpe reveals an inner vision, imbued with freedom and intuition.

"Being an artist is something that stays with you all your life", she says. A native of Germany, her approach is constantly evolving. Curious and daring, she explores new materials - gold, silver, patinas - to enrich the texture of her canvases and refine her artistic language.
A major player on the international scene, she has exhibited in leading contemporary art venues such as New York, Paris, Monaco, Nice and Saint-Tropez. Her work, recognized for its singularity, has won several awards, including the 1st prize of the town of Saint-Tropez.

From Thursday 24 to Wednesday 30 July 2025 between 10 am and 8 pm.
