Presentation of the Prix du Titre X Hôtel de Paris Saint-Tropez
The 26/09/2025
This year, six novels and five essays are in the running, selected for the same qualities: a strong title and a compelling text. But also a title that resembles us and says something about this eclectic, talented and free Jury.
As the Sails of Saint-Tropez take to the skies, Le PRIX du TITRE once again invites you to join us on September 26 to discover the new winners of the PRIX du TITRE, an unusual and original prize whose selection is based first on the title and then on the quality of the text. A new category has been added this year: Essay.
Two winners will be honored: the Novel category, as was the case in 2022 for César Morgiewicz and his first novel "Mon pauvre lapin" (Gallimard), then for Violette d'Urso in 2023 for her first novel "Même le bruit de la nuit a changé" (Flammarion), and last year for Simonetta Greggio for "Mes nuits sans Bardot" (Albin Michel), which was awarded on the birthday of the woman most intrinsically linked to this village and its history: Brigitte Bardot.
This year, six novels and five essays were shortlisted for the same qualities: a strong title and a compelling text. But also a title that reflects us and says something about this eclectic, talented, free-spirited Jury, strongly attached to the region, through works with remarkable literary qualities and a boldness that smacks of our village, globalized certainly but still unique, messy, welcoming, lively, bewitching and inspiring.
Resistant, we can say, thanks to the guardians of the Temple, Madame Sylvie Siri, our Mayor and all the lovers of this little corner of paradise who will be gathered here this evening, celebrating the roots of the myth that is and remains Saint-Tropez.
Saint-Tropez Terre d'artistes and Terre de liberté de ton will express themselves in both categories, rewarding prize-winners who have ventured into subjects that are close to their hearts.
