Illustrate your movie poster!

The 31/01/2026

Playing with collage, drawing and caricature, personalize your own retro, humorous movie poster inspired by the visual world of Albert Dubout.
This workshop invites participants to imagine and create their own movie poster from the cinema of yesteryear, inspired by the tender humor and rich style of Albert Dubout, the famous 19th-century French illustrator and caricaturist.
Known for his detailed drawings, round, expressive characters and lively scenes, Dubout left his mark on the history of cinema posters. In particular, he designed numerous posters for Marcel Pagnol's films.
You don't need to know how to draw, but with the help of collage, stencils and other artistic techniques, we'll give free rein to our imagination and humor. Each participant will leave with a unique poster, full of character and a tribute to popular French cinema.
