Pampelonne Beach’s historic beach house, owned by the Palmari family since the 1960s, Le Bar du Soleil is entering a new chapter in its story on the shores of Pampelonne Bay.

Remaining true to the Mediterranean spirit and family soul that have always defined it, the house now reveals a simple, vibrant and sun-drenched atmosphere, with shaded pergolas and long summer tables set directly on the sand.

People come here as they would to a summer house: to enjoy lunch, gather with friends, spend the day barefoot on the beach — and often stay well into the evening — around a generous, sharing-style Mediterranean cuisine with Spanish influences. Led by a team of chefs from France and Spain, the kitchen brings together craftsmanship, conviviality and generosity.

The menu celebrates seaside specialities, simple and abundant dishes, charcoal grilling, fresh sangrias and iced cocktails, all accompanying long lunches that naturally drift into the rest of the day.
