Les Nuits du Château de la Moutte - Brad Mehldau

The 28/07/2025

For 50 years, the Nuits du Château de la Moutte have been bringing Saint-Tropez to life in the moonlight, between the courtyard, the palm grove and the Canebiers beach, with concerts of classical, baroque, jazz and world music. A magical rendezvous under the stars.
Brad Mehldau, an exceptional jazz evening
Under the centuries-old pines, an evening with today's greatest jazz pianist. Brad Mehldau has forged a unique path that embodies the essence of jazz, exploring the classical, romantic and pop repertoires. He'll bring the palm grove to life with his own compositions, as well as standards and pop-rock covers.

Brad Mehldau, one of the most lyrical and intimate voices in contemporary jazz piano, has forged a unique path that embodies the essence of jazz exploration, classical romanticism and pop.

Critically acclaimed as a band leader, Brad Mehldau has made a name for himself on the international scene, collaborating with Pat Metheny, Renee Fleming and Joshua Redman. He continues to garner numerous awards and the admiration of jazz purists and music lovers alike. His forays into the fusion of musical idioms, both as a trio and solo artist, have resulted in brilliant covers of songs by contemporary songwriters such as the Beatles, Cole Porter, Radiohead, Paul Simon, Gershwin and Nick Drake, as well as an ever-expanding catalog of original compositions.
With his self-proclaimed affection for popular music and his classical training, "Mehldau is the most influential jazz pianist of the last twenty years" (The New York Times).
