Les Nuits du Château de la Moutte" Festival
From 28/07/2025 to 13/08/2025
© Les Nuits du Château de la Moutte
For 50 years, the Nuits du Château de la Moutte have been bringing Saint-Tropez to life in the moonlight, between the courtyard, the palm grove and the Canebiers beach, with concerts of classical, baroque, jazz and world music. A magical rendezvous under the stars.
For 50 years, Nuits du Château de la Moutte has been inviting visitors to a unique musical experience, a blend of romanticism and poetry, in the heart of a place steeped in history. In the enchanting setting of Émile Ollivier's château - politician, academician, Wagner's brother-in-law and Liszt's son-in-law - music dialogues with nature, the sea and the stars. As night falls, concerts take place in the château's courtyard, with its remarkable acoustics, in the palm grove or on the legendary Canebiers beach.
Whether classical, baroque, jazz or world music, each edition is a showcase for artistic excellence and discovery. To celebrate its fiftieth anniversary and the bicentenary of Émile Ollivier's birth, the festival returns to its romantic essence, under the artistic direction of Nicolas Dufetel, paying tribute to the repertoires dear to Émile Ollivier and his family.
From Brad Mehldau to Nadine Sierra, from Lucas Debargue to Jakub Józef Orliński, the greatest artists share the bill with emerging talents. The festival also features family programming with musical storytelling, children's shows, a music and cinema evening, and children's workshops including a parent/child duo.
Supported by the City of Saint-Tropez and the Conservatoire du Littoral - to whom the estate was bequeathed in 2000 - the festival aims to transmit a demanding musical tradition, while preserving the fragile beauty of the site. The intimacy of the site, the proximity to the artists and the magic of the Tropezian nights offer a suspended moment, out of time, which attracts a loyal and amazed audience every summer.
