WR Women’s Chess Tour 2026 - European Leg

The 2026 WR Women’s Chess Tour is a global series featuring the world’s top female chess players.
The announcement of the Tour’s launch has already sparked significant international interest, generating, for example, more than 20 million views on X.
The 2026 WR Women’s Chess Tour aims to build a structured, year-round ecosystem to promote women’s chess by supporting female players and increasing their visibility.
In 2026, the tour will take place across several continents, with stops in Tokyo on June 6–7 (Japan), Punta Cana on July 1–2 (Dominican Republic), and Maputo on August 21–22 (Mozambique), before heading to Europe and Saint-Tropez, one of the most iconic destinations on the French Riviera.
The competition will take place on August 25 and 26, 2026, in the magnificent setting of the Torpez Vineyard in Saint-Tropez.
