11th Theater Festival presented by "Les Tréteaux de Saint-Tropez"

The 05/12/2026

As the holidays approach, the Tréteaux de Saint-Tropez raises the curtain on four plays where humor, emotion, and the joy of being together take center stage.
Here is the program:

Saturday, December 5 — “Piège à cons” by Jean-Pierre Martinez, performed by Les Tréteaux de Saint-Tropez.

As the presidential election approaches, a party floundering in the polls picks a scapegoat to represent it so he can take the blame for the disaster.
All the while, they’re secretly backing an independent candidate to rally behind after his victory. But the scapegoat turns out to be unpredictable…

3:00 p.m. – Upstairs in the Jean-Despa Hall.
Admission: €10, with proceeds benefiting the Telethon.

Sunday, December 6—“Divorce à La Marseillaise” by Jean JAQUE, starring Nina Valéri and Philippe Napias.

José and Jennyfer have made a big decision: they’re getting a divorce!
From the announcement of the divorce to the introduction of Jennyfer’s new boyfriend, including the appointment with the lawyer, the visit to José’s mother’s house, the division of the furniture, and other score-settling—not to mention a mind-blowing finale—this separation is going to be explosive.
A “Marseillaise-style divorce”…

3:00 p.m. – Upstairs in the Jean-Despa Hall.
Free admission.

Saturday, December 12 – “Et pendant ce temps Simone Veille”

Tracing a path from the 1950s to the present day, three actresses tell the story of women’s rights through a cast of colorful characters.
Spanning generations, the show recalls women’s struggle for equality and freedom through song and humor. From the corner of the stage, Simone, the narrator, acts as a bridge to the audience, punctuating the show with anecdotes and thought-provoking reminders. A play that makes you laugh and think.
From scenes of everyday life and outlandish (but informative!) stories to hilarious song parodies: a different way of talking about women!

3:00 p.m. – Upstairs in the Jean-Despa Hall.
Free admission.

Sunday, December 13—“Ugolin,” based on *Les chroniques marseillaises* by Marius Karmo.

A charming journey into the Marseille of yesteryear, from the schools of the past to the legendary waiters’ races, not to mention the unforgettable Solex mopeds—which you’d quickly fall in love with—and the sun-drenched trails of the Garlaban... So many memories, scenes from daily life, and anecdotes recounted with humor and nostalgia, carried by the tenderness and mischief of a Ugolin who is as colorful as he is endearing.

3:00 p.m. – Upstairs in the Jean-Despa Hall.
Free admission.

Saturday 5 December 2026 from 3 pm.

Full price: 10 €.
