Festival ARMEN_Saint-Tropez

Organized by the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez since 1978, the ArMeN Festival, which combines sailing, skiing and art, will take place from March 6 to 15, 2026.

Some sixty crews are competing in two weekends of regattas, a skiing event in Auron and an art event. An art exhibition organized by sculptor Cécile de Kock will be held at the Lavoir Vasserot from March 6 to 18, 2026. Created in 1978, the ARMEN Festival is a renowned and popular event (sometimes more than 70 yachts compete). The name "ARMEN", a contraction of ARt MEr Neige, is of course also a nod to the lighthouse of the same name. In addition to the rankings for each discipline: Sailing, Skiing and Art, there are three prizes to be won by competitors: The "André Hermann" Challenge: best combined ski-sail ranking The "René Perrier" Challenge: best combined Art-Sailing ranking And of course, the Armen Trophy: best combined Art-Ski-Voile ranking. Note that this event counts towards the IRC Mediterranean crewed ranking. THE MAIN PRINCIPLES OF THIS FESTIVAL : - Art in the spotlight during Festival week: March 6-18, 2026 (A work of art must be created by one of the crew members of the participating yacht on a theme defined in advance (Cf. Art competition rules). - A first weekend of regattas and, weather permitting, a coastal course starting from Saint-Tropez: March 7 and 8, 2026. - A Friday ski race in Auron: March 13, 2026 - A second weekend of regattas in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez: March 14 and 15, 2026 This event is open to modern OSIRIS Habitable, IRC and Traditional yachts.
