A family-owned vineyard in Cogolin, in the heart of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. For eight generations, the Audemard family has been cultivating its vineyards and crafting its wines at the estate, with passion and expertise, in an authentic setting nestled between the vineyards and the Massif des Maures.
In Cogolin, in the heart of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, the “Domaine de la Giscle – Maison Audemard” is a family-owned winery whose history has been passed down through eight generations.
At the foot of the Massif des Maures and just a few kilometers from the coast, the vineyard spans nearly 50 hectares of vines. The estate owes its name to the Giscle, the stream that flows through its lands and has been a part of its history.
From generation to generation, the Audemard family has developed the estate while remaining committed to their craft and their land. From the flour mill to the first vineyards, from the wine once sold in bulk to the various vintages produced today, each generation has contributed to the estate’s legacy.
As independent winemakers, we cultivate our vineyards, harvest our grapes, and handle the winemaking, aging, and marketing of our wines ourselves. From vine to bottle, every step is carried out and monitored directly at the estate by our family and our team.
Domaine de la Giscle: our white, rosé, and red wines reflect the different facets of our vineyard and our work. Some vintages are aged in oak barrels in our barrel cellar, which is visible from our tasting room.
To discover Domaine de la Giscle, no reservation is needed: during opening hours, wine tastings are open to all and free of charge in the tasting room. Our team will welcome you and guide you through a simple exploration of our different vintages. The wines available can also be purchased directly at Domaine de la Giscle.
For those who wish to explore further, we also offer fully private tours, by reservation, in French or English. Whether you’re with your partner, family, friends, or colleagues, these tours let you discover our family history, our terroir, the cellar, and the various stages of winemaking, before concluding with a guided tasting. A gourmet option also allows you to extend this experience with a sharing platter.
