Cathy & Fred Lefol and François Fenoll share a common passion: sharing their creations, which, when combined, complement one another, bring out the best in each other, and evoke beautiful emotions.
Since 2024, they have been exhibiting together; a true artistic bond has developed in addition to the personal connection that unites them.
Cathy Lefol “Cat”
As for linocut, Cat adopted this multi-step technique in 2017, as it suits her multitasking nature well.
In sculpture, since 2021, her subjects have been constantly evolving, both in their conception and in what they evoke.
For her, in art as in life, everything is a matter of contrasts and balance... She thus enjoys revealing living beings with all their melancholy, extravagance, cruelty, kindness, rough yet delicate ambiguity, relative stability, and fragility...
Frédéric Lefol
For the past fifteen years or so, Frédéric Lefol has devoted himself to drawing and painting in his studio in the heart of the village of La Garde-Freinet.
More of a draftsman than a painter—but also a doodler, collagist, and sketch artist—he creates images filtered through certain influences.
As a finishing touch, he always adds a hint of nostalgia.
François Fenoll
I give forgotten objects a second life.
Each piece is a story, a silent narrative that I bring to life. I hunt for treasures, I recycle, I transform.
A motley collection of objects—relics of the past—are transformed into unique works that evoke emotion. Aesthetics, contemplation, and emotion are the guiding principles of my work. I don’t so much create light fixtures as I do diffusers of emotion—flashes of light that rekindle memories, moments, and feelings. Each piece is an invitation to journey, an escape toward a poetic horizon steeped in history.
Welcome to my world, a world where light intertwines with memory.
