A monumental outdoor exhibition in the town of Saint-Tropez, showcasing the work of five women from five different countries, all working with a single material and a single standard: bronze.

Five women, five countries, one common requirement, one material: bronze.
Mariela Garibay (Peru), Hedwige Leroux (Belgium), Paola Grizi (Italy), Isabel Miramontes (Spain), and Laurence Perratzi (France) have each chosen sculpture as their primary medium. Their process is identical in its rigor: shaping clay by hand, patiently, intuitively, before the work is sent to an art foundry, where it is molded and then cast in bronze—this ancient metal that captures the ephemeral and grants the work its eternity.
Yet their worlds stand out strikingly.
What these five sculptors share is a common way of looking at the world, and of looking within themselves—with gentleness and hope, and turning that into strength. In the frantic pace of the world we live in, their works invite us to slow down; to seek, like bronze, something essential and enduring; to explore what is happening within us. For a sculpture is not merely a matter of form and material: it is emotion, it is poetry, it is communication from soul to soul.
Their works do not impose themselves; they invite. They do not shout; they whisper something essential about the human condition, about fragile joy, about inner beauty.
The strength of gentleness is this: the conviction that what is tender can be powerful, that what is beautiful can be true.
This exhibition features five artists represented by Casart and exhibited in Europe by Bel-Air Fine Art, one of Europe’s leading contemporary art gallery groups, which has been based in Saint-Tropez for twenty years.
