Lavoir Vasserot exhibition - The soul of cities

From 12/02/2026 to 18/02/2026

My artistic approach is based on an exploration of architecture and the urban landscape as vectors of emotion. I see the city not simply as a functional setting, but as a space charged with memory, tension and silence.
"If through my art I can make a heart vibrate just a little bit more, then I will have succeeded".

Fabrice

Fabrice Finet, born in 1973, is a graphic artist who began painting at the age of 22, after spending over a year in French Guiana doing his military service.

After his studies in mechanical engineering, he worked in a design office as an industrial draughtsman, which gave him a definite taste for architecture and the precise lines found in his first drawings.

His need for autonomy and movement in his profession led him to move into the field of control and inspection, enabling him to travel to many cities around the world, where he worked as a draughtsman.

The different atmospheres he encountered fueled his paintings and his perpetual quest to create emotion in his artistic work.

He took classes with Catherine Harley and Caroline Mairesse in Grenoble between 2010 and 2018, and then developed his work until he achieved contrast and luminosity in his urban landscapes, using only black and white as basic colors.

In 2020, he will be exhibiting his inks to the public for the first time in Thonon les Bains at Le LOFT atelier expo, whose managers have recognized the quality and craftsmanship of his drawings.

From 2022 onwards, Fabrice will be exhibiting several times at the Massillon gallery and the Marie Poscia gallery in Hyères, where his work has met with unquestionable success...

Fabrice's sensitivity is reflected in his works, which create a real emotion for viewers. We enter his universe like we enter a film, which grabs us from the very first scenes and dialogues.

Living part of the year in La Londe les Maures in the Var, the urban landscapes of southern towns, particularly Saint Tropez, play an increasingly important role in his studies and research into graphic construction and the soul of towns.

From 12/02 to 18/02/2026 daily.
