Festival - This is the South

This summer, the Région Sud and the Comité Régional de Tourisme are joining forces once again to offer a new edition of the "Ça c'est le Sud" tour!

A regional operation to promote tourism, highlighting some of our most beautiful areas that have been awarded the "Villes et Villages Fleuris Qualité de vie" quality of life label.

- An initiative that pays tribute to the daily commitment of mayors and their teams, in line with regional policy aimed at boosting the attractiveness of our destinations.

- It also reaffirms the commitment of the Southern Region to carbon neutrality, energy and ecological transition, and sustainable tourism that reconciles respect for the environment, the local economy and quality of life.

The "Ça, c'est le Sud" tour is an itinerant cultural and festive event that takes place every summer in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. Organized by the Comité Régional de Tourisme pour la Région Sud, it offers a free show to a wide audience in some thirty towns and villages. The aim is to bring locals and tourists together, to showcase the region's assets, its art of living and its sense of hospitality, while promoting responsible tourism that respects the environment.

Each stage of the tour offers around three hours of entertainment, providing opportunities for exchange and conviviality between audiences. The tour also includes meetings with CRT teams to discover the best deals and places to visit in the region.

The tour generally runs from early July to mid-August, with stops in various towns and villages in the region, from the coastal areas to the Alpes de Haute-Provence, in order to showcase the entire region.
