Lavoir Vasserot exhibition - "ARINGA O TE RAPANUI" - Faces of Easter Island
From 09/10/2026 to 13/10/2026
Painter-portraitist Delphine Poulain, member of the prestigious Explorers Club of New York, former professional navigator, renowned lecturer and guide to archaeological explorations, transports you to Easter Island with vibrant authentic portraits and an entire Pascuan universe reconstituted in the intimate setting of the Lavoir Vasserot, in the heart of Saint-Tropez.
An artistic rendezvous and a rare opportunity to explore the history of a people with uncommon island resilience, who have preserved their identity, their language and all the richness of their culture through the centuries: the RAPA NUI, as Easter Island is now known, one of the last of the Water Peoples. Descendants of the great Pacific migrations in sailing pirogues, they became Bird Men... One of the most enigmatic civilizations in the South Pacific.
A unique immersive experience to feel the magic of this isolated territory, where authenticity still prevails. Visitors will be able to chat with the artist, who lives on Easter Island with his French family, and enjoy a selection of previously unseen works inspired by 30 years of passion, respectful exploration, silent listening, daily sharing and intimate friendships with this unique people.
From 08/10 to 14/10/2026 on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and weekends between 10 am and 9 pm.
Free entry.
