A parade featuring approximately 24 polo horses, from the harbor parking lot to City Hall.
The Polo Parade at the Polo Club Saint-Tropez has become one of the must-attend events of the Saint-Tropez summer, celebrating the elegance of polo in the heart of the village and bringing this exceptional sport closer to the general public.
Located in Gassin, the Polo Club Saint-Tropez is now one of the most active and international polo clubs in Europe. Each season, from May to September, the club welcomes players, horses, and teams from all over the world, including Argentina, the United States, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Spain, Brazil, and the Middle East.
Following a 2025 season that brought together nearly 80 teams, more than 290 international players, and over 240 matches played on the club’s fields, the 2026 season continues to expand with more than fifteen international tournaments, ranging from youth and women’s polo competitions to high-level tournaments, making Saint-Tropez a major destination for European polo.
On Wednesday, July 29, 2026, nearly 24 horses and their riders will parade from the
Port Parking Lot to the Town Hall Square. The riders will ride in pairs,
representing the teams competing in the various tournaments organized by the Saint-Tropez Polo Club
Saint-Tropez.
Teams likely to participate in this year’s event include:
• Saint-Tropez Polo Team
• F Team
• Battistoni / La Saga
• La Martina / The I AM EDIT
• Nicava / Equikamen
• Gold / Cabaña Gualta
• Adelante / Poseidon Dynamite
• ERG / Power Horse
• Polo School
• Kids Polo
• Lily & Kids
A major new feature of this year’s event is that the parade will also highlight the youngest riders, with the participation of the Polo School and the Kids Polo Teams, accompanied by their ponies. This initiative reflects the club’s commitment to passing on the values of polo—respect, team spirit, responsibility, and fair play—while encouraging the next generation of players.
Upon their arrival in front of City Hall, the teams will be officially welcomed by the Mayor during a formal reception, marking one of the highlights of the Polo Club Saint-Tropez’s summer season.
Much more than just a parade, the Polo Parade has become a celebration where sport, heritage, and the Saint-Tropez lifestyle come together. It allows residents and the many visitors to get an up-close look at the horses, the players, and the world of polo, while highlighting Saint-Tropez’s international reputation through one of its iconic sporting events.
