David Pluskwa invites you to his 16th summer season, from July 8 to August 15 inclusive, in partnership with Galerie Ary Jan, already present at the 2025 edition.
Discover a free temporary museum on the first floor of the Salle Jean-Despas, where you can admire major works by Impressionist, modern, post-war and contemporary artists. A unique place to discover, where works are for sale or simply to admire.
The public will be able to appreciate the quality and selection of sculptures and paintings presented by Mathias Ary Jan. On display are exceptional works by François-Xavier Lalanne, a superb sculpture by Niki de Saint Phalle entitled "Ange luminaire", and a small masterpiece by Auguste Renoir depicting washerwomen. We'll also discover recent pieces by the illustrious master goldsmith Goudji, each of whose silver works is entirely fashioned by his own expert hands, the fruit of his overflowing and singular imagination. Some of Jean-Pierre Cassigneul's female portraits will also be on display.
David Pluskwa will present a magnificent group of paintings by Robert Combas, including "Le Chant des tournesols" (1989), one of the artist's masterpieces. There will also be iconic works by César, an exceptional painting by Bengt Lindstrom and a unique piece by Niki de Saint Phalle, "Serpent Rocking Chair".
Two unique "Flowers" by Murakami. A monumental corten steel sculpture by Bernar Venet, 220cm high by 150cm wide and 150cm deep, to be exhibited in the garden of the Salle Jean Despas.
Among his favorite artists, Michel Macréau will also be on show, with previously unseen paintings.
Contemporary artists will also be in the spotlight, with tribute works to Brigitte Bardot by Jef Aérosol, one of the pioneers of European street art and a celebrated stencil artist. New works by Rose Madone, Wilson Mété, JonOne, Chloé Kelly Miller, Lego Lenz and Luke Newton will also be on display.
