Stationery - Saint-Tropez Couleur Bleu - Tribute to Brigitte Bardot
From 09/07/2026 to 31/10/2026
He is the artist who brought Notre-Dame to light. She's an indisputable figure of Tropezian cultural heritage, an international star and, above all, a French woman. In all her splendor. We paid tribute to her in 2024, on her 90th birthday, with an artistic project based on photos by her friend and accomplice, Jicky Dussart, which she herself approved, finding it "unique" and enthusiastic about it!
At the time, she offered us a phrase that floated all summer in the Tropezian sky - "Du Vent, de la Mer et de la Liberté" - and which says it all about her. Or almost. Her death on December 28 immediately prompted us to restore the Lighthouse of Saint-Tropez to the colors of its most emblematic figure.
But also the most beloved: Brigitte Bardot.
While "Saint-Tropez Couleur Bleu" honors a personality of the Tropezian Cultural Heritage every year (since 2018), we decided, with BARDOT, to make an exception and dedicate one more year to her, a whole year, one that will allow Tropezians and fans of this whole and generous nature to accompany her departure in a community of souls united around a singular work. Designed by the brilliant Patrick Rimoux, who describes himself as a sculptor of light or a tailor of shadows, the work - based on photos by Dussart - offers a sublimated version of Bardot in Animal Country, her face haloed by those she loves above all else.
This black-and-white project, to mark the afterlife of the Lady of La Madrague, was endorsed by Bernard d'Ormale, her loving husband, now President of the Brigitte Bardot Foundation. And an ardent admirer of the woman whose life he shared for thirty years.
From 09/07 to 31/10/2026 daily.
