World Environment Day

The 05/06/2026

As part of World Environment Day (a day organized every year by the UN on June 5 since 1973), the Commune de Saint-Tropez is offering free events and workshops in the harbor near the Harbour Master's Office.
Numerous companies and associations have already confirmed their attendance, and will be offering events, demonstrations of the equipment they use, and explanations of their activities to protect the marine environment.
It promises to be another exciting day!

The Port of Saint-Tropez was certified as a "Clean Harbour Active in Biodiversity" in 2025.
This certification rewards rigorous environmental management and innovative initiatives to preserve marine biodiversity.
To mark this event, on Thursday June 5, 2025, the Commune and its port organized an official ceremony to award the Certification, accompanied by an open day dedicated to raising ecological awareness and presenting the actions taken to protect the environment and biodiversity.

In view of the success of the day and the interest shown by the students, the Commune of Saint-Tropez would like to repeat the event on World Environment Day (organized every year by the UN on June 5 since 1973) and once again offer activities and workshops near the Saint-Tropez harbour master's office.

Numerous companies and associations have already confirmed their attendance, and will be offering activities, demonstrations of the equipment used and explanations of their activities to protect the marine environment.

Schoolteachers and their pupils are also invited to take part, debate and enjoy activities focusing on the impact of plastic waste on the environment, discovering measures to limit pollution and encourage sustainable development.

Friday 5 June 2026 between 10 am and 6 pm.

Free of charge.
