Waste management and resource conservation
In 2025, more than 148 tonnes were collected, reflecting the effectiveness of the system with a significant increase compared to 2024 (52 tonnes), thanks to better organisation and greater awareness among boaters.
 |
Since 2012, a comprehensive action plan has enabled:
- The introduction of a free waste collection service on board.
- With regard to water, after the increase observed in 2024 due to particular climatic conditions (Saharan rains, high summer temperatures) 2025 saw a stabilisation, even a slight decrease, thanks to awareness-raising about eco-friendly practices, the use of water-saving equipment such as automatic shut-off taps, and the implementation of a proactive policy to detect and repair water leaks throughout the port network.
These efforts illustrate responsible and exemplary management of water and resources.
